Finding Fit is a riveting and compelling memoir that will inspire you to get your own life...up and running. You will find in it the value of tenacity and fortitude that can help you tackle the hard things in life.
This is the account of one courageous woman’s journey to becoming healthy on the inside and out. After a devastating divorce and loss of her mother to cancer, Caren set out to run a remote marathon on every continent in the hopes of finding...herself.
What she found was far more valuable than her own personal experience. From the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to the deserts of the Australian Outback, to the frozen landscape of Antarctica and the diminished oxygen at the Basecamp of Mt. Everest - Caren uncovers priceless life lessons and discovers that maybe, just maybe, our heart is our strongest muscle.
